Kindle Hill Farm

Saly Glassman acquired Kindle Hill Farm in 1998, in collaboration with Natural Lands Trust and Wissahickon Trails, both non-profit land conservation organizations.  Kindle Hill Foundation’s home is located within this permanently preserved parcel of 128 acres in Montgomery County, PA. Saly and her husband Ira are active proponents of conservation, and have collaborated with Natural Lands Trust and Wissahickon Trails to preserve parcels for the community to enjoy.

The property includes 57 acres of a plant and wildlife haven, protected by Wissahickon Trails. Many areas are open to the public, including a perimeter trail and multiple interior trails. The trails provide a tranquil setting for bicyclists, runners, pedestrians and equestrians to safely enjoy the scenic views, animals, and plantings. The interior of the farmland includes several barns,  indoor and outdoor arenas, a round pen, a horse walker, and 71 acres of green fenced pastures. Kindle Hill is home to over 30 horses, including competitive show jumpers, pleasure horses, and equine assisted therapy and learning horses and ponies, as well as a menagerie of dogs, and a very special cat with therapeutic skills, “Chloe.”

With its natural beauty, the farm offers the ideal setting for portraits and wedding party photos. The wide variety of trees, decorative shrubs and open fields all contribute to the pastoral scenery that is an attraction for families and corporate clients. Private garden spaces are available for business meetings and social gatherings.  Kindle Hill Foundation is pleased to announce that its property is also available for seasonal photoshoots and select events. Pricing is based on a per project basis.

All proceeds from events are allocated to equine assisted learning and therapy programs for law enforcement and members of the public in need of financial assistance for mental health services. Through your contribution, your event experience can help to make a positive difference in the lives of so many others!
